Fortunately, the TWA has been working on numerous initiatives for more than 20 years and has gained the respect of local schools. We continue to provide guidance and assistance to schools with their literacy issues at every stage. Every week, we check in, visit, and request reports. We establish a relationship and determine how we can support instructors. We also offer books tailored to the children and have in-depth discussions with them.
Currently, we are working with three schools in the Khon Kaen region, and the outcomes have been excellent.
However, we have also turned down hundreds of other schools because our strategy is to select complementary schools eager to collaborate long-term while placing the kids’ needs first.
At this time, it is apparent which schools should implement the reading promotion program.
To determine this, we first conduct a knowledge and background assessment of the practitioners. When we observe a lack of potential, the cause often is an unwillingness or a failure to comprehend the program’s significance. The school must set a clear goal for the reading program and make a long-term commitment to it. Only then can we devote our resources, time, and commitment to making it a long-term success.
We are here for the long run, intending to see these children succeed for the following year and the next 20 years. We are dedicated to seeing the next generation grow up with a fundamental skill, reading, which opens doors of possibilities.
If you are interested in partnering with us, please consider donating as 100% of the proceeds will be given to buy new books for schools unable to afford them or spread more awareness with friends and family.
